Classes will be delivered through live zoom or other online platform.
Buttercream Class
During this class you will learn the basics of cake decorating such as:
- Make American buttercream
- Leveling
- Filling and Stacking
- Crumb coat and final coating
- Sharp Edges
You would have to bake 3 – 6 inch round vanilla or chocolate cake. I will provide the cake recipe. This would have to be baked the day before and refrigerated overnight wrapped in paper napkin and seran wrap
Tools needed:
- Turn table
- Long serrated knife
- Scraper
- Piping bags
- Piping Tips Wilton 1M
- Offset Spatulas
- Cake board
- Food coloring
- Mixer.
Ingredients needed for the American buttercream:
- 3 stick of butter
- 1.5 cups Crisco ( shortening / no flavor)
- 3 to 4 lbs of Powdered Sugar
- 1/4 cup Heavy whipping Cream or Milk
- Vanilla Extract
- Food coloring.

Fondant Class
During this class you will learn:
- How to prepare your cake to be covered in fondant
- Conditioning the fondant
- Coloring
- Roll out fondant
- Covering cake
- Creating Sharp Edges
- Fixing imperfections
Tools and Ingredients needed:
- Buttercream or ganache covered cake (refrigerated at least 2 hours)
- Turn table
- Long Silicone Mat
- Smoothers
- Flexible Smoother
- Pre-made Fondant I use SatinIce
- Rolling Pin I use a PVC pipe
- Needle
- Parchment paper
- Pizza cutter / Knife
- Powdered Sugar
- Crisco
- Food coloring
- Decorations such as flowers, ribbon.
