Ingredients
- 16 oz Mini Marshmallow
- 1 Tbsp Water
- 1 Tbsp Ligh Corn Syrup
- 2 lbs Powder Sugar
- Gel food coloring Optional
- 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla extract Or any other flavor
- 3/4 Cup Vegetable Shortening

Instructions
- Cover a microwaveable bowl and silicone spatula with shortening.
- Put the marshmallows and water in the bowl and microwave them for 1 minute.
- Let them rest for 30 seconds and mix them with the spatula.
- Microwave for 30 seconds, let them rest for 30 seconds and mix with the spatula. Repeat one or two more times until melted completely.
- If adding color, mix it to the light corn syrup. Add the light corn syrup to the marshmallow mix and combine.
- Add half the sugar to the marshmallow bowl and mix together.
- Grease a surface and your hands with the shortening. Transfer the marshmallow mix to the work surface to add more sugar and knead.
- Continue kneading, adding sugar until you r fingers do not stick to the fondant and you can form a ball with it.
- Coat the fondant with shortening, cover it with plastic air tight and let rest for an hour before use.
